Grosgrain: Queen of Hearts and Alice in Wonderland Costume Set GIVEAWAY!!!!

I feel guilty entering this giveaway. Almost. She put so much work into these costumes, it's ridiculous! However...as long as she is determined to give them away...it might as well be to me, right? How I WISH we lived closer to family. I would force my daughter and niece to wear these dresses! My Brother in Law could go as the rabbit...

"Free" Iron On Transfers

So this isn't something to win, but starting tomorrow Target will be selling boxes of General Mills cereal with free "Little Miss" iron-on transfers printed on the back of the box.  So fun!  Is it still supporting King Corn if I'm buying the cereal just for the iron-on transfers? :)

For details, see this post from Jolly Mom

Technology and remodelling...combined!

There is a new app for the iPhone/iPod Touch. It lets you compare wood grain to a database to find out what kind of wood it is. Awesome! But this wouldn't be a post if there wasn't something to be given away right?

Living Locurto is giving away and iPod Touch. There are different ways to win, so head on over to the site and check it out.

The Coterie Blog: Shabby Apple Giveaway!

http://www.thecoterieblog.com/2009/10/shabby-apple-giveaway.html

I've always loved the Shabby Apple clothing line- produced out of Salt Lake, the dresses are (for the most part) modest, and always well made.  (I've also heard them called affordable, but at about $80 a dress this thrift-shopping Mama would much rather *win* one :o)

Head over the Coterie blog for a chance to win one of your choice of four dresses!

Owlhaven Giveaway: "Family Feasts for $75 a Week"

I love this woman's blog- she has ten kids, from 3 countries (including two little girls from Ethiopia and 2 boys from Korea.)  She homeschools them all (one of her older boys just qualified as a National Merit Finalist!!), has cows and chickens, an AMAZING garden, and her husband and boys are always building cool things out of sticks and scrap wood (recently they made a chicken tractor...swoon.)

I loved reading her book "The Sane Woman's Guide to Raising a Large Family."  Yes it's a long title.  No, it's not a SUPER long book.  YES, I got lots of great ideas and encouragement.  She has a great attitude with her kids and with her life.

She is also the author of this cook book, and wouldn't it be great to win this give-away??  Three people will win THREE copies of her book!  (So keep your fingers crossed for me...and let me know if you want a copy for Christmas :o)

Here's the giveaway:
